Where to start......

There has been a lot going on lately......some ups, some downs and lots of in between. So much so that I really dont know where to start.

Lets just hit all the major points-
July Vacation was AWESOME!!!!
Lake Trip with my family.
Joe's 31st Birthday.
Bought my very first Lilly Pulitzer dress!!! love it!! Pics soon!
Wiffle Ball Tourny.
Lots and lots of work and mx riding.

Aug not to much so far...
Bike Night at MR Honda last night and heading out with friends for Joe's belated bday drinks tonight.

Oh yeah its my birth month in 21 days I'll be 26!!!

Just cant catch up....

So I've been very busy lately what with trying to cram fun stuff in on vacation, work, gym, it being Summer, school stuff....grr the list goes on and on.
So I'm going to try and get pics uploaded tonight and do a real honest to goodness update soon, but so much has happened I almost don't know where to start.

Wow its been awhile!

So its been a week since I've blogged been busy doing vacation stuff and just enjoying life!

We'll start with last Thursday after work we headed to Greer SC to the Greer Dragway.

Friday was possibly the longest day of work ever since it was the last day before vacation....Friday night Joe and I grilled steaks and watched Breakfast at Tiffanys...sigh!!!

Saturday cookout with my family and then headed to Lake James with Joe and Nikki!!

Sunday we loaded up the jeep with all the camping supply's and headed out to Sapphire, NC and The Gorges State park where we 4-wheeled in and camped on the Horse Pasture river.

Did some fishing.

The water was so warm so we just swam, played and tanned all day.

Just as we packed up camp a nasty storm rolled in and no sooner then we put the tent in the jeep and got the top up it started hailing.

Headed home and on the way stopped and did one of the little gem mining stands to fun and got some pretty rock including, Emeralds Sapphires and Rubys.

Came home cleaned up and went to Lake Julian to watch the fireworks!

Work it out.

Well I've been hitting the gym a bit more regularly and watching what I eat better and its working!
Yesterday at the gym I used there nifty scale that figures out your BMI[body mass index] and its now in the athlete range yay! Last time I checked it a few months ago it was in the fitness range and now I'm in the athlete range whoohoo!

This was me when Joe and I first started dating....40 pounds heavier then I am now.

Once I started dating Joe I was more active and eating much healthier so I started losing weight,

then I joined the gym with my Mom and well now I'm in the best shape I've ever been and looking to make it even better since I do want to run Tough Mudder with Joe.

So I'll leave ya'll with a bit of motivation....and more motivation for me.

Monday....hmm you weren't awful!

So my car is fixed and home yay!!!! All thanks to my super sexy mechanic.

This weekend we went on a 210 mile ride on the 919 went all over Western NC ended up in Highlands/ Cashiers area...so beautiful!

Well we rode under Bridal Falls together....hmmm...lol.

All in all I'm a happy girl right now....4 days and counting till Summer Break!

Glad this week is over!

On Wednesday I tried posting a blog about how my life was starting to go in a good direction, well that afternoon on my break from work I went to go pick up motorcycle parts for Joe. Started to go right on red since the lane I was pulling into was completely clear as I did that the jerk in the other lane merged into mine in the middle of the intersection wtf right?
I stepped on the gas as hard as my little Toyota would go she revved up and took off, for a second....then came a nasty noise and she just stopped, the other jerk barely and I do mean fractions of inches missed the rear end of my car then flipped me off and went on. I coasted into a housing development kinda... a good bit of the back end of my car was still on Hendersonville Rd. Joe is an hour and a half away playing golf with his Dad for Fathers Day and cant come help.....aahhhhh! So two nice people helped me push my car in front of a house, the owners of the house said "yes honey its fine to leave it there till some one can come get it" and then one of my very nice co-workers came and took me back to work. My Momma came and picked me up and took me home and then Joe went and got poor little Lara the Solara.

This is what I've been driving for the last two days.

How went spent Thursday Night.

And how lucky am I to have a man who has the knowledge and cares enough to do all this?!

Got it all out...Engine, Transmission, Both Wheels and Axel's.

And found the problem....a broken fly wheel, $25 bucks at our local junkyard!

Hopefully I'll have Little Lara back by next Wednesday! 

Just in time for Summer Break!!

                   Now to add insult to injury on Wednesday Rulala emailed me to tell me that they canceled my Sperry order.....so sad, but if the cant get them I guess oh well. And I did get a $10 credit towards a future purchase as well as my money back. :-( oh well. Now we are off to enjoy the weekend, ride some motorcycles and see family from Indiana! 

What a Awesome Weekend!!!!!

We will start with Friday Night, Date night...sorry no pics forgot oops.
Got all dressed up and went downtown Dinner at 151 yummy, then checked out downtown after 5.
Way to much hippie b.o funk so we went and met up with Daren and Bekah for drinks!
Saturday morning started preparing for the big ride, went and saw my Papaw, then home to clean more.
Tried to go to the pool with Nikki but we ended up getting there as a HUGE storm rolled in.
Got home to find that Joe's friends were starting to arrive...and then the mayhem begins....

Lots of drunken mayhem made for a fun fun night.

Then Sunday morning the boys headed out for there ride and I headed to Lake Keeowee with Jane and John.

Got home not long after Joe, hung out while all his buddys packed up then we ended the weekend by just relaxing in the bed.

What a great weekend!!!!!
